We have been keen bird-watchers for years, and this autumn we had a go at bat-watching. Robin is operating a bat detector, a gadget that turns sounds inaudible to our ears into sounds we can hear. Quite interesting standing there listening to the calls and target detection sounds of these small, flying mammals. |
